The Game’s Afoot
Winner of the 2012 Edgar® Award for Best Play from The Mystery Writers of America!
It is December 1936 and Broadway star, William Gillette, famed for his role as Sherlock Holmes in a wildly successful play, has invited fellow cast-members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend celebration. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the mood in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turns dark. Now it’s up to Gillette himself, as he assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes, to track down the killer before the next victim appears. Twists and turns abound in this murderously funny whodunit set during the Christmas Season.
